Urban Ice

One of THE best portrayals of my favorite Bleach characters that I have seen in a long, long while; that's exactly how I wish to describe this.

You captured Hitsugaya with a classic expression, and in an environment that cleverly suits him, mainly due to the fact that the colors associated with him and of course, his abilities in the manga, fit the winter realm. Speaking of the winter realm, you have done a wonderful job with the snow and winter wonderland background; it is a tad blurred, but it greatly helps bring out the main character, so stars for that, definitely. And you have worked in the colors, as I stated before, perfectly. It looks exactly like what the title states: An urban, icy land. But, I have to dock you a few points in originality for the fact that I have seen my favorite characters in a winter landscape before. But, since it is executed wonderfully, you get great points in technique.

Not to mention, the details are phenomenal here. His MP3 player and ice-headphones made me literally grin, a very clever idea. The dark-winter-camouflage pants also fit the scene and the character perfectly; they are, along with the entire outfit, something I could see Hitsugaya wearing, for they fit his cool personality.

Speaking of personality, as I stated before, great expression here. He's not grinning, and yet, he can be seen as quite content; in a way, he is smiling, yet keeping his calm (tying into the winter theme, perhaps?). And points for how well you did his hair as well.

Overall, great piece. You did a great job on it, I can tell you worked very hard. The only other thing that bugged me besides seeing this general theme before is that one glare of light on the blue building near the center. It is good lighting overall, but that one just seemed to distract me. But still, great piece, and I hope to see more from you ^ ^
