Yuffie Kisaragi from FF7.
I did this as a commission for this girl at AnimeBoston who got frightened away from my table by this weird otaku guy. (NOTE: never say you are single at an anime con without bracing yourself for the consequences!) Without a doubt, the best commish i did all weekend. I plan on inking and coloring soon. Any ideas for a good background? Comments Very fancy.

Anyways, as a sketch, it looks really nice so far. I can't really tell what her right hand is doing though (the one further back); putting more detail into your sketch will make linearting easier usually. Her torso seems a little small too. Good sketch though. -- I put the sexy in dyslexia  For a background, perhaps you could do her on the roof of a building or something to that effect.

 Yea! You drew my favorite girl from FFVII!!!!! You did a great job! I can't wait to see it finished! Hmm.....background.... how about piles upon piles of materia? Or maybe just a crap-load of weapons like shuriken, sickles, kunai, etc lying around. That's all I can think of.
-- Dr. Phil: You're fat. Don't try and sugar coat it because you'll eat that too.  It looks fantastic! Yuffie is one of my favorite characters in the world!
 It's great to see a picture of Yuffie actually LOOKING like a ninja!  YUFFIE!!!!!!!!!!
-- Don't let anyone tell you your're not strong enough  I'd say either Midgar, or since its the original outfit from the game, and not from AC, you could even go as far as to do a background fitting of were you first meet Yuffie... a forest.
