tried some new techniques in this one:
did the base colors in PS (per usual). when i finished the flats, i flattened each standalone layer according to its corresponding area. then, i took it into Painter and blended the hell outta it. lastly, i took out some of the sharpness of it by flattening all layers, copy, paste on top, set to 30% opacity and gaussian blurred it up the wazoo. i kinda like the "steamy" look it gives off. well... this makes 11 out of 12. i guess i'll have to put up a preview of the December Special Group pic soon. Oo, very hot!
C&C What happened to her other leg? o__O The line for 'the small of her back' is fine and dandy but doesn't match how curvy an ass in that position really would be. Her legs too, I just don't think the rump would be that much of a circle in that position...but that's just me! -- <3 Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love. This is very good. I generally dissapprove of the use of too much filtering but you've done well to keep it subtle. The background is very nice, I'd like to know how you went about that. My only problem with the pic is that the body is a little off. Not so much that it's obvious but you've asked for advanced critique. It's a credit to you that I had to go through with a fine tooth comb to find stuff. There's only two main problems. The first is the shoulder (her right), It's out a little far and it makes her look too muscular. Perhaps is would look better a little closer to the body and on a close angle to her forearm. The other problem I found was where her lower back meets her backside. I think it needs to curve inwards from the underpants rather than outwards. Not too much but slightly inverted. In spite of those things however the picture is very good. A little continued practice with body structure and you'll be pretty much perfect.
>.< She looks so bored/blank. Her face and upper body is great and there are not so many problems with it.
However, when I covered the top half of her, I noticed that her bottom is too arched too high. The curve on the top may need to be drawn a little inwards to give her a fuller figure which would make her much sexier and also define her shape. Another problem is her other leg, is it all the way in the water? Or is it just not there? xD I think you just need to draw a tiny bit on the left leg - just like the other, but less obvious because it's further away from the perspective, and then it'd be perfect. Apart from that, everything seems to be fine! Good job. =] I cannot wait for the group pic xD nice work! I love the pose & shading on her skin.^^
